Speaker: Phil Feldman, PhD, Program Coordinator BRMC Acute Partial Hospital
This seminar will focus on helping social workers choose empirically validated treatment models that fit their values, beliefs and clinical perspective. Further, participants will become more cognizant of the theories and techniques that they are already using in their clinical work. The seminar will also highlight critical concepts of a number of popular treatment models, including ways to start treatment and handle resistance. Attendees will learn from case examples how to integrate theory and practice in an effective manner.

Food Drive for The Center for Food Action’s
Weekend Snack Pack Program
On Going Donations Accepted
Many children who receive free or reduced priced school meals are left without adequate nutrition on the weekend and holiday breaks. The Center for Food Action’s Weekend Snack Pack program hopes to fill this gap by providing healthy, kid-friendly and easy to prepare foods to children at risk of hunger.
BRMC is hosting a food drive to support this program. If you would like to donate any of the following items, please bring them to the Public Relations office or call Susan Burkhardt at 201.967. 4615.
100% Juice Boxes
Applesauce cups
Small boxes of raisins
Small cans of vegetables with ‘pop-top’ lids
Pudding cups
Shelf packaged milk
Small boxes of cereal
Instant oatmeal packets
Granola bars
Packed crackers and cheese
Fruit Cups
Tuna or canned chicken
Soups with meat or beans
Mac and cheese in microwavable packets
Please remember that Kid Friendly Snacks must be individually packaged, small and light enough to carry, no glass jars, shelf-stable microwavable and nutritious.
